Tamara Almeida

Tamara Almeida Silva is the reigning Miss Brasil Mundo (Miss Brazil World) and represented Brazil in Miss World 2008. She won the title on July 26 2008 beating out over 10 other contestants. She speaks English, Spanish and Chinese basic.
Tamara was Miss Ouro Preto Mundo 2006 and placed as the 2nd runner-up in Miss Brazil World 2006. She competed in Miss Maja Mundial and placed as the 1st runner-up. In 2007, she was invited to compete in Miss Brazil World as Miss Espirito Santo. She placed as 3rd runner up. In the same year she was chosen to represent the island of Fernando de Noronha in Miss Tourism Queen International 2007 and she placed as 2nd runner-up. In 2008 she was invited to represent the state of Minas Gerais and she was the winner. She then went on to represent Brazil in Miss World 2008, where she placed in the top 15.
