Brooklyn Decker (born 3 August 1987 in Kettering, Ohio) is an American fashion model best known for her appearances in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. She is married to tennis player Andy Roddick.
Decker and her family moved to Middletown, Ohio, then to Matthews, North Carolina, where she was discovered in a shopping mall as a teenager. Her parents both work in the medical field—her father working with pacemakers, and her mother is a nurse. Decker attended David W. Butler High School in Matthews, North Carolina.
During the 2007 Davis Cup final between the USA and Russia, Decker was seen in the crowd supporting American tennis star Andy Roddick. According to reports, the pair did not meet by chance—Roddick had been flipping through the Swimsuit Issue when he spotted Decker and had his agent contact hers. On March 31, 2008, Roddick announced on his website that he and Decker are engaged and were married on April 17, 2009.
